"Green hints & fresh chive aromas give way to cherry & berry flavors that are accented by an appealing note of smoke. Spice, earth & tobacco details provide depth on the finish." – Wine Spectator
The wine combines attractive fruit intensity with subtle savoury complexity, displaying dark cherry, plum, clove & nutmeg aromas with a hint of smoked meat. It is succulent & rounded on the palate, & delivers bright fruit flavours backed by polished tannins. Lovely harmony & length.
Misty Cove Estate Pinot Noir can be enjoyed with a wide range of dishes including lamb, beef, wild meats, stews, curries, pasta & mushrooms.
Or, just chill it slightly & enjoy it on its own!

2016 Misty Cove Fifth Innings Pinot Noir
Whole bunch fermentation and ageing in new French barrique makes the wine instantly appealing with impressive complex notes on the nose showing spiced cherry, dark plum, dried herb, cedar and floral aromas. The palate is concentrated and elegant at the same time, offering wonderful fruit purity brilliantly enhanced by silky texture and deep savoury undertones. A fine wine that is refined and engaging, wonderfully structured by fine, firm tannins. Limited production with only 3000 bottles available; each bottle individually numbered.
