This 100% Chardonnay produced on the hillsides of Saint Georges d’Orques has a light straw colour, a fresh bouquet of zesty yellow citrus fruit. Ripe and full flavoured with a rich and creamy texture, round and perfectly balanced by a fresh lemon acidity with a crisp, clean and long finish.
Produced in the Aude valley, this 100% Sauvignon benefits from a climate influenced both by the Mediterranean and the Atlantic, producing a fruity wine full of citrus and apple, with nicely balanced acidity and a delicious finish.

Since the 2012 vintage, this outstanding white Bordeaux has been carefully selected and blended by the team at Château Clinet (Pomerol). The vineyard is situated at the highest point of the Gironde region, between Sauternes and Saint-Emilion. The clay and limestone terroir, the orientation of the vines and the altitude (145m) combine to produce stellar white wines. Produced from 80% Sauvignon Blanc and 20% Semillon in stainless steel vats, with low-temperature maceration. An appetizing pale gold colored wine, with a platinum glow. Mouth-watering scents of candy, boiled sweets are lifted by blossom, lime, and mature white-fleshed fruits. In the mouth, the first impression comes from the fleshy, creamy texture. Then the white and zingy citrus fruits step in, seasoned by cardamone and saffron threads.
Raymond-Lafon is the best kept secret in Sauternes!!
The estate is contiguous to Bordeaux's most expensive white wine - Ch. d'Yquem - and shares the same mix of grapes & winemaking techniques.
Raymond-Lafon's owner M. Meslier, was previously the 'regisseur' (General Manager) at d'Yquem & oversaw all production at that famous property for many years. This 2009 Raymond Lafon is simply a stunning sauternes at a price half that of the other great names from Sauternes.

Chateau Raymond-Lafon is literally across the road from Chateau d'Yquem - the world's most expensive white wine.
Raymond-Lafon makes their sweet sauternes with the same mix of Semillon & Sauvignon Blanc as does Ch. d'Yquem.
'Jeunes Pousses' is the younger "brother" to the Raymond -Lafon's famous sweet Sauternes. Made in exactly the same way it receives 18 months barrel ageing instead of 36 months.
A little less concentrated the name 'Jeunes Pousses' (young shoots) has nothing to do with the young vines; it refers to the Meslier family's children Michael and Gabriel -Marie Emmanuel, twins born in 2006.

In the heart of Southern France's Rhone Valley, about ten minutes from Chateauneuf du Pape, between Avignon and Orange, lies Chateau Gigognan, a vineyard whose winemaking tradition has roots that can be traced back deep into the history of the region. In 1987 Anne and Jacques Callet became the new owners of the Clos du Roi domain. Inspired by a passion for the history of the property, in 1990 they began a complete renovation of the Chateau in the traditional provencale country-house style, to return it to its former aristocratic glory. In 1996 work began on a new better-equipped cellar. An organically-farmed vineyard: having made the decision to convert their thirty hectares of Chateauneuf du Pape and forty-two hectares of Cotes du Rhone to organic-farming, the vineyard was awarded ECOCERT certification in 2009.
